I often get questions from parents and players on pitch counts, pitch selections, and general arm safety. Seems like everyone’s at least a little confused about this stuff. This information is from the American Sports Medicine Institute – it is really a culmination of all the research nationally by pretty much everyone involved in the science of pitching. Everything has been tested and retested in clinical research and tests at major university research facilities across the country and these are the established truths.
